Sue Polites, Melbourne, Australia

This is one of the loveliest places I've stayed in, and provided me with every comfort for a greatly needed restorative interlude

Nicola and Elliot

I want to thank you for making Elliot and I feel so welcome during our stay from Friday to Saturday last week. The accomodation was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. It was a pleasure meeting Sky and Spring too! I can't believe we didn't have to pay any money for such good service, but rest assured we will be telling all our friends and family about how fantastic Bishopsdale Oast is. Please feel free to use any of these comments on your website if you wish.
Best wishes,

Ruth & Patrik, Switzerland

We stayed at Bishopsdale Oast for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The house is quietly and beautifully situated with wonderful surroundings and ideally located for exploring England's South East. Jane and Iain are a lovely couple and never tired of giving helpful advice. Don't miss a delicious breakfast at Bishopsdale Oast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bishopsdale Oaste. It is a lovely old building with great views of the local countryside. Iain and Jane were very welcoming and helpful, recommending a great place to eat locally in Rye. We were well fed at breakfast with a wide selection of yummy locally sourced and homemade foods.
Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Trip Advisor 4th Feb 2012

We have just returned from one night in the Bishopsdale Oast b&b. So sad it was only one night but I KNOW that we'll be back!

The location is off the beaten track, absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by a deer park (and yes, we could see it from both the bedroom and bathroom window!). We received such a warm welcome from both Iain and Jane who showed us around the house and recommended some good places to eat nearby.

The room was huge, with a good size bathroom. The bed was more than enough room for the pair of us (superking size I think!) and even though it was freezing outside, the heating was on and they had provided an extra heater and blankets. It was obviously v.clean and well presented.

The house itself is full of photos, articles and curiousities to look at, and in the morning Jane showed us photo albums from WW1 and talked us through some of the stories linked with all the photos. I thought it was so lovely of her to take the time out to have a good conversation with her guests, knowing that she had to make the rooms up again before the next guests arrived.

We only had the continental breakfast, due to a big dinner the night before. I have to say I was sorely tempted by the Full english, but the continental was substantial enough for us, with wonderful local produce.

I can highly recommend this b&b to....anyone! We will definitely be back, and I've already enticed my parents to give it a try. Thank you Iain and Jane!
Room Tip: For the best view and a superking size bed choose the Kiln room!
